Woj Drops His Final Bomb

In a plot twist that nobody saw coming, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski just dropped the ultimate bomb...on his own career. The man who gave us all the juicy inside scoops, broke draft picks, and lived rent-free in NBA Twitter, is hanging up his reporting shoes at ESPN.

But here’s the kicker, Woj isn’t retiring to sit on a beach somewhere. Nope. The man is headed back to school. Woj is taking on the role of general manager at his beloved St. Bonaventure University. He’s trading breaking news for recruiting and NIL deals, all to help his good friend and coach, Mark Schmidt, keep their program strong and tournament-bound.

Honestly, if you told me Woj would one day drop a Woj bomb on himself, I wouldn’t have believed you. But here we are.

Philadelphia 76ers Aren't Going Anywhere

Mayor Cherelle Parker has Philly fans breathing a sigh of relief after she announced an agreement to keep the Sixers in town. For a while, it seemed like they might be packing up for New Jersey, with Camden throwing in $400 million worth of tax breaks as a tempting offer. But Mayor Parker wasn’t about to let Philly’s squad cross the river that easily.

The city has struck a deal with team owners to build a brand-new $1.3 billion arena downtown. However, not everyone is hyped, nearby Chinatown residents aren’t thrilled about the plans. And while the proposal still has to clear city council, it looks like the 76ers will keep calling Philly home for the foreseeable future. Sorry, New Jersey, not this time.

WNBA Announces Major Expansion

The WNBA is growing, and Portland is officially making its return to the league.

After years of growing viewership, more star power than ever, and the league hitting new heights in 2024, the next logical step is expansion. And on Wednesday, the WNBA announced that Portland will be home to the league's 15th franchise, set to debut in the 2026 season.

If you’re a longtime WNBA fan, you might remember the Portland Fire, who played from 2000 to 2002 before folding. But now, the Rose City is back on the WNBA map. The decision comes less than a year after WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert put Portland’s expansion plans on hold, but it looks like the wait is finally over.
